The "systemic racism causes all disparities" stuff should be classified in the same category as "hippies and their bad 60s values brainwashimg people caused all our social ills" basket in that its more morally righteous ideological tantrum than empirical claim. I could probably tell a true story about how racism was part of the origin story as in "if all black people had immigrated voluntarily and been treated like Swedes would probably have modest disparities" but the final result has so many more necessary causes its kind of useless to talk about racism as the cause.
