"That was sort of an administrative note. More formally on that front, the most popular posts here by far, in terms of total page views on the Web, are the ones that directly attack someone or something: Influencer stuff, doping stuff, the posts about efforts to cancel someone. " - Not surprising, right? FB found the same thing, did they not?

I find it sad. And yet, I enjoy it when you rip apart people I dislike or look down on. It makes me feel better about my own shortcomings. Recognizing that is the first step, right?

Not sure if you've written about this yet, but I take umbrage to the RW headline, across the front of the latest issue: "The dangerous Lie of the perfect running weight" or some such thing. Dangerous? Really?

This isn't the first time I've read an article about diet culture and wondered why authors feel it necessary to dive into dangerous behaviors and triggering content at the expense of offering practical solutions. The few important points like how children can pick up on their parent's unhealthy behaviors and problematic feelings and how fixing your relationship with food and your body image can make you feel better and set a good example to your children get lost under the "fuck it all because men suck" main topic. It's really frustrating to see good content get passes over for the same kinds of "blame white men" articles that are so popular today.
