Your reaction to noticing that calorie counts usually end in 0 or 5 is the opposite of the reaction I have to many reported statistics. I usually complain that they ae reported to more precision than is justifiable given the (in)accuracies of measurement involved.
I also like to complain about treadmills, Fitbits and other gadgets reporting how many calories I have burned while exercising. That information is of no interest to me.
