The only thing I’ve thought of is: never click. Just don’t click on the crap. The clicks help generate the revenue paying someone to write (given the loosest possible definition) about literally anything at all, regardless if untrue, poorly written, irrelevant or inane.
Certainly seems another way to keep oh so very many distracted from anything important that’s going on.
