Since you enjoy Venn diagrams: I suspect there’s lots of overlap between “People Who Knew Enough Not to Reproduce” and “People for Whom Suicide is a Reasonable Retirement Plan.” A friend of similar comportment laments that we can’t be issued cyanide caplets so we can get it over with quickly and with no mess when the time comes.
Great reading reminds me of Le Carre latest book not a memoir but still like a memoir.
got that book quite by accident. Had never read any Le Carre so at least it gives the feel of his ....oeuvre ....! Your stay in the army must be worth a whole chapter ... if you were to put all these autobiographical parts together.
