Did you see Glenn and John interview this poor woke fool who was outwoked by his own cultural revolution that you mentioned? I don't get how we went from something easy and obvious like "you know, if black people had just immigrated here and been treated like Swedes we probably wouldn't have as many flourishing disparities as we have now" to this nutty stuff like this guy defends while John and Glenn exercise the patience of Job.https://youtu.be/3x5vKN3ZNDM

My experience in the media--I get lambasted on Letsrun for this but I think you are spot-on with white women in some cases.

Feminism IS a good thing in some situations (and it was needed in the '20s to get women equal rights!), but it only benefits educated, elite women from the coasts and not the single mother busting her ass to get by. The pay gap IS a myth, honestly, and people don't realize that. I worked in mortgages for awhile and did income verification--often the woman was Borrower 1 and the man was Borrower 2. She usually had the higher-end white-collar job. But when there is a draft the men are the first to die.

A lot of the media types had trust fund or privilege (rich beta husbands!) that they don't acknowledge. Think Lindsay Crouse (who is a good 2:53 runner) from Harvard. A lot of NYT peeps are like that too (male and female). Blogsnark is full of liberal women too but at least that subset will call out fake instafluencers and such for not acknowledging their privilege.

Letsrun USED to be able to have a good discussion about this but now it's a popularity contest, and their hidden mods (not Malmo) can delete/ban whomever, for no reason. I thought the BroJos were conservative...they must have gotten pushback somewhere.

I gotcha on the blast/broadcast wording now!

The kill piece was VERY interesting. NYT used to be good.

I also think a lot of people are doing this for $ not just for $ itself, but enough $ to retire, have safety, TIME, and networks. That's even more valuable than $--people want to make it big to build their networks (I see this with book writers, fiction and nonfiction).
