I was thinking what happened in the world years ago this week while in the 1,090,000 acres of the boundary waters between Minnesota and Canada this week. Sticks. Nothingness. Primitive camping, fishing and canoeing all day just to squeeze out a meal of fish for dinner.
Then I see this. These folks are standing on the backs of everyone before them and have no idea how the economic, spiritual, and American idealism began. Does anyone understand how it all started here? The good old USA was pretty backwards by today’s standards as little as 60 years ago.
