Paul Krugman, Nobel Prize winner in economics, is either innumerate or a flaming asshole who should be dismembered by a mob of meth-crazed hobos. Which is it?

It's bad enough to be constantly lied to. Being asked to accept the lies as true is grounds for gathering their originators together and issuing them a vicious collective beating
Making sure to slap both of our cheeks, they use the increased monetary output due to inflation to tell us that the economy is doing “so well”. And they say it with a straight face and an upbeat lilt in their voice. Reprehensible and aggravating.
I’m trying to figure out the snack. Aren’t chicken flavored crackers basically flat dog bones? 🤔
I used to occasionally eat out, but the last time I looked into ordering a lunch for two (one sushi roll and a teriyaki bowl) the total would have been $65! I laughed and made nachos instead.
Also, to add to the deception, containers tend to remain the same size despite the shrinking content, so when you open a box of cereal it’s “funny” to see how little product sits in the inner bag.
Umm, those snack factories have been dropping the amounts and charging the same for many years now. As an inveterate shopper of many of the large grocery chains, I can attest to that. And the amount we get continues to fall while the price steadily increases. Had a large family, so was always cost conscious. Your blogs are always a good read; love the no-holds barred on language.
People with lots of kids o tend to be keenly attuned to per-unit-mass price increases. And you're right, shrinkflation is nothing new, but it seems more acute when everything alreasy costs an arm and a nut, and still rising out of proportion to any wage increases I'm aware of.
Related to this is companies selling a little less of something than meets the eye. A great example is YooHoo, which as a teenager I drank like the chocolate sugar water it is. YooHoo was always sold in 11.5-fl oz. cans, which blended in with the 12-ounce cans of everything else, but made the company avout 4.2 percent more money, all else the same. I speak of YooHoo as if it's dead, but in fact I just haven't had any since I quit drinking alcohol. They go so well together.

To pay a grifting twat like Krugman is a shame. CNN also brings on climate grifter Michael Mann to spew climate alarmist bullshit as well.
