Not at all surprised that Thomas was mediocre at best when competing against males. Also, no true athlete competes with others that are not on a level playing field.

Thomas is doing the world a favor by giving everyone a chance to decide for themselves in a relatively simple way how much of a difference there really is between males and females. Same competitive league, swimming events, etc.

As a result, sports fans or people who don't live on Twitter -- and despite my lack of participation there, I get sent enough tweets to remain aware of the general clamor -- have had no solid sense of how bitterly contentious and bullshit-powered the "let boys play as girls, and men as women" campaign is. Now, without having to fully immerse themselves in the culture wars and go angrily insane like I have, people can see who's been lying about this stuff and who hasn't.

And stats on women morphing into trans-men for a competitive sports advantage?

Transphobes have long observed that the flow of ersatz Ms into F sports has greatly exceeded the flow of ersatz Fs into M sports. Transphobes posit that this blows a huge whole in the "It's about equality of opportunity" argument, because, these bitter fucks say, this can't be a coincidence. Transphobes say this imbalance is indeed suggestive of trans people wanting to participate in sports, but that tossing the allure of improved relative performance into the mix adds a lot of incentive. Transphobes have all the answers.
