Could it be that the 4th wave of feminism, (supposedly, where we are now) has actually become the beginning of the 1st wave again? We have circled back.....
The whole notion of advancing the equality of women, mainly through data-driven or at least assessable metrics, has been obliterated by "intersectionality" (where a whole bunch of roadblocks stand between any given woman and the simple status of "feminist") and the tireless stupidity of eliminating rational standards as the basis for determining anything.
For example, are men causing EDs in women athletes, or is it just simpler to shout that it is because it sorta looks that way if you ignore a lot of variables? Etc.
Who knows what the first wave would have looked like with an Internet, but it's easy to speculate similarly about anything.
