As someone who loves the running community deeply, I get the frustration and anger. Although, I think calling a woman a c**t may be a tad too far.

I get it, and my mom would have grounded me for using the term to describe anyone or anything for as long as she retained the power.

The problem is that I really can't think of a better word. If I replace it with something milder, even in my mind, it doesn't tell the full story of someone who lies destructively and without restraint or consequence in the capacity of a NYT columnist. And I don't mean minor exaggerations or lapses. I mean whole made-up events and personal story lines, all of which I have her plenty of chances to explain in my now-past Twitter life without going thermonuclear.

As clear as it is to a discerning reader that she's full of shit, running's ever-expanding clueless element can't get enough of her Twitter dribble and professional malfeasance. I could excuse her for being stupid and incompetent were her failures perpetrated in earnest. But like Snell, she's a fraud, a mouth-breathing scammer enacting a personal agenda.

She should be grateful some guy with an annoying aversion to fake news in the running world calling her names is the only punishment she's had to endure.

While I don’t support the lack of training, and a few other things, your commitment to this woman is disturbing and borderline obsessive. You have shown more kindness and restraint to the professional cheater Hooligan (sp) than Latoya. There is something deep in your soul that seemingly despises her for other reasons that you have expressed. It may not have been implicitly stated, but it’s implied in your underlying tone. Perhaps you need to reflect on why you are so hateful towards someone you do not know and whose existence does not in anyway affect yours. Races reserve bibs for organizations, they all do. These orgs in turn distribute the bibs as they please. My main issue is the lack of training and not respecting the race. But i’m not going to write these long, and hateful diatribes because at the end of the day, she is a human being. And let’s be very clear, you as an older white man, has mo business disrespecting her the way you have. You say that there are no racist undertones, but I beg to defer. Perhaps you should say what you truly mean: you are upset that this fat, black woman is capitalizing on what white people capitalize on everyday for merely just existing while white. After all, aren’t you the honesty police?

It appears that your comment can be summarized as "Latoya is a liar. but you're a white man, so you're not allowed to criticize a black woman." And despite this being an absurd and openly racist position, you accuse me of occult racism ("You may not have said it, but I know you're thinking it")

If that's honestly what you're saying--"Sure, she's a dirtbag, but that's none of your business"--then you have confirmed everything I wrote up there about both Snell and her supporters, and it's unclear how, or even if, you expect me to respond. But I will offer some observations.

It's funny that you think I went too easy on Houlihan. That completely ignores all the pussified white journalists out there who did their best to protect her outright, which was VIRTUALLY ALL OF THEM. I'm basically the only one you'll find who agreed with the ruling and said so, emphatically.

You also seemed to not pick up on my saving my worst venom in the above post for a lily-white deviant, Crouse. White people like her PRETENDING to care about racism is why you see an obvious clown like Snell at the center of their Wokish efforts, because those white people don't have enough respect for running to research a word of what she says. To them, any black face claiming oppression will do.

Also, you have *some* kind of ethical compass--you think Snell disrespected the race--and yet when it comes to someone being an outright liar and scammer, it's "the honesty police" who worry about it. That is a truly odd inner scoring system.

The fact is, Snell's gaslighting of people who point out her lies--sniping that contains a lot of racist elements--is more concerning than her pitiful bullshitting about her running. In fact, she reminds me a great deal of a different psycho I had direct dealings with--someone who tried to ruin my life and used many of the same shitball tactics as Snell, except that this psycho was as pasty-white as white gets.

I wound up in court because some drunken, undermedicated ball of resentments went to the cops with a made-up story and pushed it as far as she could. So I admit I hold assholes like Snell in special contempt, and maybe that's your "deep in your soul" connection.

If writing a post about someone every couple of weeks is an obsession, it's less of one than merely following any of these idiots on social media and reading their dribble for ten short minutes a day. I don't even have a Facebook, Twitter or Instagram account.

I really don't get what leg anyone is trying to stand on when their whole thrust is "certain people should be allowed to lie, so piss off." I prefer not to live in a society that operates by that principle. Talk about gatekeeping!

Finally, have a gander around the rest of the blog. You'll actually find a lot of helpful or at least interesting running content.
