Good job with this. How’d it feel to write it?

Impressed with your range. From the personal essay to the expose’ to the essayistic diatribe. Always learning from it. Thank you for doing the work and sharing it.

I reflected recently, what happens to our memories when we die. I love my long runs and ultras, I get to see views and experience moments that only that sport can provide. My hope is that when and if I'm old enough to just sit there and live in the past, these memories will make me smile when I have nothing else to do.

However it seems like kind of a waste if when the blood stops flowing to my brain, all those memories just vanish. Are they there just to serve me in my old age?

One way to keep them living is to do what you did here Kevin, with this beautiful tribute to Mr. Wolfe. It was a lovely read!

As another former student of Mr. Wolfe, I don’t think he would be on board with your targeting HS athletes and making fun of their disabilities on the internet. I know he taught me better than that.
