The man who raped and killed Laken Riley was a brown illegal immigrant, so running outlets are downplaying or ignoring the crime
The media have to minimize or ignore anything that clashes with their "brown people rule!" narrative. But that's not the only thing going on in the distance-running sector
(UPDATE: Laken Riley’s “suspected” killer had been arrested twice before and even worked as an Uber driver in New York City.)
Last week, a nursing student at the University of Georgia named Laken Riley was raped and murdered in an unusually grisly way while she was out running. Riley was a 2020 graduate of River Ridge High School in Woodstock, Georgia, where she ran cross-country all four years.
The “suspect” is a migrant from Venezuela who entered the United States illegally in 2022. His name is irrelevant, and hopefully, he’ll wind up not being humanely executed by the stare but treated by other inmates exactly as he “allegedly” treated Laken Riley.
Because the killer was “of color” as well as in the country illegally, the media in general and the running media especially are downplaying or ignoring the crime and the victim’s terrible death. The running media are entirely aimed at past and aspiring Joe Biden voters, and it wouldn’t be wise to overemphasize Biden’s cataclysmic and intentional failures at the U.S.-Mexico border at this point. And of course, the media try heroically to cover up the ethnicities of nonwhite violent offenders whenever possible, since we’re in our own color revolution now and many of the members of the running media openly, if selectively, hate white people.
The same thing happened when Eliza Fletcher was murdered—also in an especially ugly way—while on a run in Memphis, Tennessee in the summer of 2022. The killer in that case was a reprobate young black man, someone with a rap sheet already so long that he, like Laken’s murder, should simply be smashed against the walls of his cell until there’s nothing left of him but a stain and a wristband rather than await a court date.
The image below by itself reveals just how badly the running media and the figures it comprises have lost their way—some more than others.
Ahmaud Arbery and George Floyd were not women. Arbery was a former football player who, like Laken, was on a run when he was killed but was not a regular distance runner. And not only was Floyd not a runner, but he wasn’t actually murdered, although this was concealed from the entire world at the time.
Do I really have to fight to convince anyone the media have a mandate here? The above ratio clearly reveals deep depravity, not mere negligence or a few too many anti-white editors or freelancers.
As of midmorning on Tuesday, none of the running-related e-publications in the Outside network (Women’s Running, Trail Runner, Outside Online, and RUN) had even mentioned the killing of Laken Riley.
Runner’s World published a story by Abby Levene on Friday about the murder, but in a Saturday update to the piece omitted the fact that Riley’s “suspected” killer is an illegal migrant, and not the “kind” who hails from Iceland or Japan or lovely, lovely Ukraine.
And compare this story to an incredibly laborious and ridiculous piece Runner’s World published in June 2020 centering on Arbery that somehow won a Pulitzer Prize. Or this Runner’s World’s page from the same month, getting the details of Floyd’s death completely wrong to this day.
The magazine has no editor-in-chief and is instead led by a “runner-in-chief,” currently a useless and cowardly cunt named Jeff Dengate who refuses to respond to messages. In recent years, all of these magazines have become intentionally opaque about their editorial leadership so that people like me have a more difficult time contact these dumb, craven motherfuckers and dragging them through the mud when they refuse.
And in theory, perhaps among his professional contacts is Hearst’s executive director of public relations, Nathan Christopher (“he/him,” and a proud completer of a white-guilt struggle session for credit). Is this the asshole who ensures Runner’s World’s consistent white-bashing and concomitant minimization of even lethal action by deviants of color? He certainly looks like a self-satisfied douchebag, despite clearly not doing a very good job of preventing bad press about Runner’s World.
I have not been especially energetic about scouring social media for activity about Laken’s death, not only because the subject upsets me but because my first instinct whenever I view Twitter/X, Facebook, and so on is a triumphantly on-point and uncontrollable urge to wipe out the entire human species with a vicious, sweeping curse delivered in pidgin Chinese. But from what I’ve been able to gather, Alison Desir and Emilia Benton, the two borderline-retarded white-bashers who feature most prominently in today’s running media, have had nothing to say about Riley’s murder. Benton, who identifies as “Latina” and loves pimping for the brand, is probably especially loath to mention a rape-homicide “allegedly” committed by a Venezuelan.
Desir deleted her Twitter account last year, perhaps not liking the heat she took for inventing an episode of anti-black racism at the 2023 Boston Marathon. And Benton is less active there these days than before. But as of this morning, Benton hadn’t posted a word about the murder, and I wouldn’t expect either her or Desir to be enthusiastic.
Here’s part of a conversation between these two in October 2022, when Desir—who has two degrees from Columbia University yet is practically illiterate, in addition to being an obese nonrunner these days—was pushing her soon-to-be-published book.
The lack of empathy from both of these rotten, ugly people is palpable. But why wouldn’t it be? Violent brown people running amok in the U.S. thanks to nonexistent border control and “criminal justice reforms” like book-and-release and light sentences for offenders of colors—in other words, a free-for-all for felonious brown deviants—is precisely what Desir and Benton want. This is “disruption” writ large, isn’t it?
Just wait until that kind of disruption grows nearer. This is what Democrats voted for in 2020, I guess, and will vote for again in November.
I’m not asking for scorekeeping here, or the race-war all of this slanted coverage and unholy “reforms” are meant to provoke. But reality is what it is, and in the past couple of years, the only stories about women who have been murdered while running have involved perps of color and especially vicious intent and circumstances. If we’re* really concerned with violence toward all members of the running community, we need to change how we treat these events and whom we choose as spokespeople. But if we’re not, then all of these magazines and website-like publications may as well remain the sick jokes they are, and continue to let bellowing shitheads like Benton and Desir be the face of social progress within the sport.
