You wanna see how stark sex differences in cycling are? Check out the pro peloton male vs female FTP list. Functional Threshold Power is the power output one can sustain for an hour. When was cycling from 2013-2018 I got my FTP up to 335w which would be second on the women's pro list. That's off local yokel running fitness plus proper cycling training in my mid-late 40s. A 335w FTP is probably similar to maybe 5:50 pace running in aerobic fitness required.
