Just a side note, as you've said it now twice about Courtney, but you do realize the top 10 women and men at Western States all undergo mandatory drug testing? Say what you want about the specific program (WADA), the timing (immediately after finishing the race only), but it is more than most ultras (because it is expensive).
With the plethora of sponsor spots etc available for Western States and big time sponsorship/social media perks available to podium/top 10 runners, I think it is more fascinating who *isn't* racing WS100 than who is. Like Paulson.
