Brooks Running is a broken, backward, racist company

Brooks didn't write the playbook. But given a chance to deviate into decency, it flopped

Shortly before Thanksgiving, Brooks Running dropped an amiable fellow named Nate Imhoff from its Run Happy Team (😔!!!). His offense was making an Instagram post questioning Strava for its support of an “influencer” who, like most claiming the title, is an undisguised fraud and cranky drama-queen. That the “victim” of Imhoff's unholy pogrom—also sponsored by HOKA, but with no connection to Brooks—is an uncouth liar, and likely a sociopath, is not in dispute among rational adults.

A week after I wrote about this, I followed up with a post linking to videos this flamboyant fraudstress made in both instigating and celebrating Imhoff's ouster.

I never got a response to the e-mail I sent to Dustin Glass of Brooks inquiring about the decision to place Imhoff on waivers, though I now have good reason to believe it was dourly circulated among mid-level and higher Brooks personnel.

The therefore now-closed tale is simple, although again, basic rationality is required to not lose the plot: A person was punished, and morally scolded in the process, for correctly identifying a serial rule-breaker and terrible ambassador for the sport of running. And to enhance the cancerous aspects of the transaction, these moral scolds themselves lied about Latoya Shauntay Snell not being an established cheater, in some cases even telling their subject what opinions—and even facts—he’s allowed to circulate based on the color of his skin.

The refusal of the people involved to explain themselves to an outsider was among the surest bets in history. They have declined—and will continue to decline—to admit that in their insane moral confusion, they punished a white man solely and expressly for saying something negative about a black woman, one specifically deserving of the “harassment.”

The one thing you should take away from this post: None of the people involved in this and afforded the luxury of ignoring online pushback would ever be able to rationally explain the decision to can Imhoff. Unable to run, they’d mumble something about equity and inclusion while avoiding your eyes. And the same applies to countless similar situations involving other Wokish actors. That should tell you everything you need to know about the legitimacy of Wokism, which even its invidious proponents are no longer calling “social justice.”

Evidently, everyone on the roster of any Brooks Running “team” has been given a copy of race-grifter Alison Desir’s pro-discord manual. And in accordance with the tragicomical forces of social media, they’re it a contest to see who can pretend to beat themselves senseless the fastest over the crime of being born white.

My comment was harsh, but other than calling the poster an idiot, it wasn’t personal. It makes no reference to the poster’s gender, color, size, or other characteristics; I would have written the same thing in response to the same words no matter who wrote them. Now that I'm in friendly territory, I’ll point out that women who look like Victoria’s Secret models simply do not write crap like this. They don't have to, blessed as they are with more organic forms of social currency.

And importantly, I wouldn't have written that comment at all if the cowards at Brooks had responded to my questions.

I obviously wasn’t expecting or even seeking a response; given that in this pussified block-and-report world, most critics only get one shot, I just wanted those involved to be aware that Desir is a destructive scammer—another thing rational observers don’t debate. So only days later did I discover that my whole world had been shattered.

So you can only be “antiracist” on Instagram if your community activism involves racism toward white people. Otherwise, go play with the grownups, loser! I do like the part that translates to “we have an appeals process, but not for people like you.”

And whoever did this is the counterpart of newly embattled creepster and censorious twerp Yoel Roth, until recently Twitter's head of Safety, Security, and Goat-Fisting.

I also don't have to point out that every day, professional trolls and grievance-grifters like Snell take to Instagram and other platforms and bash straight white men, as a group or in targeted ways, and incur no penalties at all. Just go to Snell’s account during normal gibbering hours in North America and wait. As you do, try starting a thread about some quality called “blackness” that infects every black person with irrepressible and irreparable character defects, and see how many fans—and what kind—this attracts in the five minutes your account exists.

Yet mentally ill sewage-factories like Alejandro Caraballo, another dude whose choice of a woman’s name is the least troubling thing about him, get away with targeted hate-spew daily. Asked to explain this example, he acted like a four-year-old.

Dragging these sick, confused, angry people before cute members of Congress isn’t going to change them or their behavior; what they need is better friends or more agile caregivers.

So yes. the people acting as moderators on all of these platforms are sick. (To the wise. The unspooling, rotating Twitter Files involving Roth and other power-mad weasels are only emphasizing this point, not disclosing it.) Or, to be overly charitable, at least their value systems are sick.

It’s very simple, at least for me: Racism is racism, and the fact that black people have been historically dumped on—and are being dumped on right now by Biden et al.—in the United States doesn’t mean white people with nothing to apologize for have to shut up and be steamrolled by obvious opportunists and sociopaths who happen to be black. And when the sleazeballs aren’t even runners but unwelcome globosities who have nevertheless selected the joggersphere as a substrate for enacting their swindled and Wokish visions, it sucks even more. No one likes a poser, even if thousands neurotically pretend to.

I understand why liberals instinctively fall for this “whites owe blacks, so no criticism” trick. I actually believe that in a world of purely evil people, no one would buy it. I myself am programmed to think that because of the atrocities committed against black people in the United States—and not just in the 1800s—then I really should stand down and allow myself to be lectured to even by a privileged faker like Alison Desir.

But only for a millisecond. See, Desir attended an elite prep school and then Columbia despite possessing the manifest brainpower of a senile Chihuahua, and she’s treated as a determined social progressive despite this craven wench boasting the same moral score as Saul Goodman.

More importantly, she doesn't direct any of her attention toward solvable problems affecting American blacks.

I don’t like fake progressives or stupid people who insist on telling me to pipe down and listen to what’s what, and Desir is both. And despite appearances, I retain some dignity. People who also want some need to start telling racists like Desir and their commissars to suck it, even when every running outlet and entity is behind it. You don’t need the approval of demoralized former pros still desperate for attention or any of the beaming whore-executives at these prosperous but ruined companies. Tell them the truth; piss in the soil of their office plants. All of this is admittedly much easier when you’ve already canceled yourself.

Brooks Running's 2021 Corporate Responsibility Performance Report is the typical DEI surface-numbers orgy. Brooks toasts itself for hitting the right areas of affirmative action: a blacker workforce, and with more employees who are or at least claim to be women.

Turquoise is multiracial, yellow represents Hispanic, pink is the new black, slate blue is Asian, and dark blue is white. (Picture the agonies management types must have engaged in over these color assignments.)

While Brooks has done a good job of expunging whites and adding blacks to bring those two categories more or less in alignment with the country's profile, why are there 2.7 times more Hispanics in the general population than at Brooks Running? It’s partly because Asians are overrepresented by 53 percent (9.2/6.0 = 1.53), but at root, it’s because people like Bill and Melinda Gates gave huge sums of money to a specific organization a few years ago.

Had Bill Gates—who for fooling most of you should be punched in the face so hard that his head flies off his neck and smashes into a cellphone tower 400 feet away while still on the rise, badly damaging his glasses—given a bunch of dough to Hispanic Lives Matter, you can bet that people like Brooks Running CEO Jim Weber—who drives a nice car and would claim to be a hostage of the machine, but is still a piece of shit for presiding over all this—would make sure that yellow band was longer by now.

If you’re wondering about the connection between Gates and other World Economic Forum luminaries sponsoring an intentionally divisive movement like Wokism and their direct aims, it’s straightforward. And it revolves around gaslighting people, including smart people, into psychological and behavioral submission.

Men can turn into women! Only whites can be racist! Believe women unconditionally, even the psychotic cunts! No deadnaming or misgendering! Being 350 pounds at four foot six is medically inconsequential!

All this was brutal and brutally new. And it softened good and thinking people to believe increasingly obvious lies about The Science—all reduced to one criminally narcissistic doctor who should be either locked in a pound-me-asswise prison or forced to listen to audio versions of David Roche’s columns on a loop. Lies about outdoor transmissibility, lethality, Wuhan, the effectiveness of masks and each of the shots, the Eco Alliance, Plaxovid, overrun hospitals, long covid, everything.

The confluence of these two shitshows—all aimed at world governments intently wondering how well we’d all comply--was being told by straight-faced CNN “reporters” and others in the summer of 2020 that covid just magically lost its demon powers during BLM riots, protests, and riotous protests. No masks needed!

People can, and will, lie, gaslight, and otherwise act like twats to get what they want. That goes for billionairechild-fondlers like the people Gates chums with and minor-league scumbags like Desir and Snell. And plenty of dupes and cowards will always get out of the way help them. Because of this unfortunate dynamic and unprecedented global developments, the world has changed alarmingly in just te past five years, and a lot of valuable institutions and freedoms have been ruined or dissolved for good.

If these assholes keep telling sane people to shut our mouths except when swallowing lies, inevitably, more people will start yelling “Fuck you!” in return, as people have less and less to lose and the costs of dissent decrease. That is, before de facto social credit scores become a real thing.

Shame on all the soy-sucking cretins and dickless wonders at Brooks who participated this and will gladly do so again. In a historic first, you are basically a pants-pissing army of opt-in mongoloid clones. I’d pray for all of you to get injured, but considering most of you appear to be slobs who willingly skip 300 days a year, that would be a dadgum waste of a curse.
