Did you see Hanania's piece about fat activism?

"When I’ve traveled around Europe, two things have struck me about the women: they are much thinner, and dress much better. I would suspect these two things are related. As seen during covid, Americans have an individualist culture in which people feel freer than other nationalities to ignore the preferences and opinions of others. Dressing down and being fat both cause an eyesore, and reflect an attitude of prioritizing comfort over how one is perceived."

I think it is pretty obvious, to put it simply, they not all trans-ness is the same and we are probably seeing many categories, one of which has always been around. And they get mashed together in the media when they are etiologically and pathologically very different.

1)People with gender dysphoria 1.0 - these people felt gender dysphoric from a very young age, they are the least likely to actually believe they "are" really their longed for gender, they mostly just want people to play along with them (I am going to pretend I am a woman and you are going to pretend not to notice is good enough) and keep their heads down and not get the shit beat out of them. Most of these people were men, but some are women. They are the least likely to want more than normal civil rights. I feel genuinely bad for these people and am happy to cosplay along with them for their own well-being.

2)Autogynophile males

3)"Destroy the gender binary" autogynophile males

4)Girls who are uncomfortable with the intensity of intragender competition and comparison (another group I feel badly for)

5)"Destroy the gender binary" lesbians.

6)Conscious frauds.

I find it weird that we are applauded generally for acknowledging the entitlement, menace and toxicity in male-ness gone wrong, but that men screaming"transwomen are real actual women and if you don't believe it you are a bigot" angry activists aren't seen as a sub-specie of this male toxicity to women.
