You should travel to Europe. I think you'd probably like it. Getting away from the craziness of the US would be good. Perhaps Finland. Or the Hebrides.

The primary benefit of restaurant dining is not having to clean up after yourself. Some would say not having to cook. But as a parent, it's really the cleanup. I look forward to our weekly meal out for this reason. So nice to just get up and walk out and let someone else deal with the mess.

E flat minor because the black keys are better anchors for the unsighted? I never thought of that. I had indeed noticed his songs are in that key and thought it was because it was his vocal range!

"The ultimate motivation behind seeking profound new experiences is the creation of lasting memories, and the ones I already have will have to suffice"

I asked myself last week what happens to our memories when we die. The obvious answer is that they are cut off like a television unplugged.

Except my father sent me a diary he kept of a 2001 genealogy trip he made to WW1 battlegrounds in 2001, and most details including how much his tea cost are included. No forgetting anything with a diary that complete!

I was at a tombstone unveiling today, and people told stories of the deceased and the stories they told while alive.

And finally, regardless what happens to my memories post my mortem, I am counting on having a lot of great ones (family and epic run memories) should I win the longevity lottery and find myself in a wheelchair at 97 in a nursing home waiting for the girl to come and change my pissy diaper.
