There was an article in Get Out There Magazine in the aftermath of a photo of Chan being deleted that said that the admins in the FB group wanted to keep the races (and group) free from politics, though they had “expressed support” of the (BLM) cause. That should have ended the discussion.
As far as the flag, the only thing I can think of is someone saw an article about the Barkley Marathons that had a picture of the prison — the prison that relates to what inspired the race (see the backstory on the race) — and noticed a flag that was drawn on the wall and somehow associated it with Laz himself. If that’s the case, it’s very sloppy commentary. If it’s not, someone should explain where the image is and the context behind it.

Laz is secretly a sadist, not in a sexual way, but think deep down inside he enjoys torturing people and watching from a distance. :D Just by the description, based on other runners experiences, I don't think I could even manage one lap. I have no sense of direction..haha
I long abandoned support of Sage Canaday but he and former fast guy Reid Coolsaet are also on this anti Laz bandwagon. So silly.
