When the snake handlers and tongue talkers seem like the sane ones to normies, you know you have a problem. But as always these idiots will soon set about forcing their idiocy down everyone's throats and the mantle of whose slippery slope is worse will again be up for grabs.

"In once recent video advertising the superior mental health of believers versus nonbelievers". Selection effects confused with treatment effects. What we'd need to do is have an RCT where we assign people randomly to church and non church conditions. Church is basically a support/lobby group for people who already share certain intuitions and moral self interests.. if there is any condition that people 100% select into it is church attendance and Weeden and Kurzban demonstrated pretty clearly church is an effect, not a cause of moral beliefs, predicated largely on self interest.
