While it's easy to be distracted by the Roche cult members' lack of courage, drive, intelligence, and integrity, raw masochism is what most strongly unifies these freaks

Running as a "thing" has never been more unattractive to people with a concern for reality, a developed sense of self, and a persistent inability get off on the smell of our own farts
The “Sage Canaday can have a constructive argument” comment made me laugh, as there are plenty of individuals on his blocked list. I believe I was blocked for liking someone else’s response to one of his Tweets. Canaday can’t handle anyone who disagrees with him.
I saw a Twitter argument about nutrition between SC and David Roche a few years ago that made me laugh because it made me wonder if the many block-and-mute-happy charm-factories of distance running (and especially ultrarunning) who block and mute by the truckload have an unspoken covenant to not block each other, as this would deprive the running public of a desperately needed exchange about nutritional science as well as Roche's eye-watering attempts at humor. Or maybe it's an extension of the Newtonian physical principle that two objects are unable to simultaneously occupy the same space.
I can at least see how Sage got through Cornell U, but Roche is clearly both a legacy admission to Columbia Law and a legacy graduate of the place. It is impossible to picture him passing the bar exam for the same reason it's impossible to see him doing the work required at an Iny League law school -- he can't think logically and has no focus whatsoever.
attempts to read a few links resulted in multiple attempts to ID cars, crosswalks, motorcycles. i kept going with it, just to see how ridiculous it would become. In the end, it became undo-able, reverting to captcha's "I am not a robot" with picture selections no longer available.
Are you talking about links to pages within archive.is or archive.is? Others have reported issues with following links from Substack to archived content. When that happens, try copying and pasting the link into a new browser tab instead of clicking. If that fails, then move on with nary a grunt of dismay, as whatever lies at the distal end of these links is certainly not worth a concerted chase.
