I can't put a word to the negative emotions I feel at these codgers who think they are so important to the world that given the clear and overwhelming predictive power of advanced age to cognitive functioning refuse to retire. The pure arrogance of it. Saagar had a great Breaking Points on this and a black mark on Bill Mahr is his defense of this gerontocracy shit. At 70 everyone should be retired. Period.

It's really puzzling how we continue to elect representatives that are compromised, selfish, and so one sided on issues.

When you live with an aging adult you see first hand the decline. Yes, there can be coherent times, but then those not living with the person tend to comment how X did so well today! Trust me, there is plenty going on with folks in there 80s we hear nothing about. People not paying attention just seem to think it will all work out.

Funny how the people from both sides aren't strongly pushing to address the advanced aging issue. I can't trust you to make a cup of tea, but if you want to print trillions and play war games I'm supposed to be all good?

Paper plates, chips, milk, gas, and even 5 ears of corn are all around $5.00. And thats at Save-a-Lot Bromotron. Chips dude. My buddy said he got a foot long wrap, chips and drink at Subway and it was over $18 bucks!
