I am a bit naive. How does one go about getting these banned goodies? Is it really as easy as it appears?

Your post is ridiculous, with all due respect. So Amber 'virtually has to be using banned substances' to run low 18 5ks and maybe the equivalent of a 1:15 20k type performance at the Mt. Washington road race? These are not mindblowing performances for someone putting in hours of endurance training.

One of your 'reasons' given for why she must be doping is that she is 'desperate to hold onto her ability to win'. So that's why she uses her doped up (in your opinion) abilities to run a road race where she would not be the favorite to win? It's doubtful she knew that Kim Dobson, the 7 time winner, would not be running. Most likely Amber expected that she would NOT win.

Another reason you give is that she is a coach, therefore she needs to be impressive to keep clients. Sorry but once again very flawed logic. One can do extremely well in the coaching business without having to win any races or even be in even close to elite shape. Believe it or not, the average runner willing to pay for coaching cares far more about the credentials of a Boston marathon qualifying time than someone winning a mountain race. It's bizarre and silly that you've chosen to target Amber when there is nothing backing up your claims.

Also, Mount Washington has been doing random drug testing since 2018.
